Embroidery: How to do the Satin Stitch

Embroidery is a wonderful way to fun pops of color to everything from sweaters to hats and mitts. In this video, Kerin shows you how to do the satin stitch. This embroidery technique uses a series of flat stitches (short or long depending on your motif) to completely cover a section of your fabric or knitting. The satin stitch is wonderful for filling in motifs that are outlines with the back stitch or crochet chain stitch.
